unknown dll file

By OP Gene ·
I have a Dell PC with Win XP Home installed. I keep getting a rundll error that says:

"Error loading c:\windows\system32\ktjoprso.dll
The specified module could not be found."

So far, I have tried MS Knowledgebase and Google and can find no information on this dll file.
Is it part of a virus or malware?

First, remove your email address. Nobody here will contact you directly. We expect you to read and answer right here in the forum.

Second, like you, I found no trace of a DLL by that name when searching. If it were me, I would boot up in Safe Mode and run a few things such as MalWareBytes, Spybot Search & Destroy, a good anti-virus scan. The, boot to normal mode and run them again. Last, run Ccleaner to clean up the registry entry which is calling the missing DLL.
