Unmapping Novell drive

By highlander718 ·
This is a quick one :

I did a Novell mapping with the "reconnect at logon" checked (on NT station). Now of course everytime I'm starting the PC I have it there. I want to map something else (and I did) but at startup the same old mapping is made.I disconnected the drive, mapped something else with the "reconnect.." checked, tried different combinations, but that one still comes up . I need to map something else with that drive letter.

Have you checked the novell login script?

If the novell login script is mapping the drive and not windows nt, you will get that drive mapped every time you login again.

In Win NT 4.0 go to the control panel and open the CSNW icon. On that dialog box make sure that "Run Login Script" is not checked.

Yes I checked the user login script but it was a common script which was running for every user (separate from the user login script) and I didn't know about it. I find it earlier and fixed the "problem". Anyways, your answer is correct so here you go !

Thanks,
