Hi, Running windows xp sp2, had an unmountable boot volume, which is looping at startup, used the HP system recovery discs to sort the problem, , there’s nothing I want on the HD, so happy to do a clean install, it’s the fourth time this has happerned, and managed to reinstall os previous times, I’ve taken the option to format the drive and reinstall xp, the system recovery box is coming up with hard disk preparation. Please wait….
I left it overnight and still the same ????
I’m assuming there’s a problem and nothings happening !
It’s a laptop, there’s no floppy, is there any way I can install the drivers to find the HD, using a usb, as opposed to a floppy, or even a cd ????
Other than that, I’m pretty much in the dark, as to how to proceed !
Any help would be very much appreciated !
