    Unplugged NICs Getting 169 Address

I have 4 new HP DL360 G10 servers. I have physical NIC 1 plugged in with a static address. NICs 2-4 are unplugged. If I open a command prompt and run ipconfig, 2-4 show disconnected. If I open Server Manager and look under All Servers, I see the assigned address followed by three 169 addresses. I am 100% sure these NICs are not connected. I bought several of the same model server last year, and they don’t have addresses for the unplugged NICs. We are seeing some network flakiness with these servers, and I’m guessing it’s related to the 169 addresses on 3 NICs. Any ideas?
