Is six times going to be enough to unsubscribe from a TechRepublic Newsletter or will I see another daily digest tomorrow?

That depends.

I assume you're going to the "My Newsletters" page, as accessed by the link in the upper right. The question then is, after you uncheck the boxes for the content you don't want, are you going to the bottom of the page and clicking the "Update my Account" button?

If so, I suggest you use the "Site Help and Feedback" link at the bottom of the page to report your problem, instead of posting a discussion and hoping someone will see it.

After failing to unsubcribe myself from the newsletter

by OnTheRopes In reply to Unsubscription

I created a filter that deletes it from my server so I never see it. The one time I sent a message to site feedback regarding an issue that I had, (forget what it was) I got a template type response that was totally unrelated to my problem so I don't even bother with site feedback anymore.

I haven't had any problems with this

as a matter of fact, I went and adjusted my newsletters while TR was having its database heart-attack. I also deleted a slew of old alerts subscriptions. Figured I could clean out a tiny corner of the db.
