Unwanted graphic during boot process.

Every time I boot up my machine – windows 2000 – a graphic that I had been working with previously keeps appearing. I went to all the file sources where the graphic was stored and deleted them, but it is still appearing. Is there somewhere else I can look and delete the thing???
