Have Sony notebook using Windows 98. Recently did complete erase, reformat and reinstall using recovery disc that came w/comp. Ever since reinstall, every time the Tab key, Caps Lock key or space bar is depressed, I get 3 to 4 extra letters or numbers. I have asked this question on many sites. The only answer I have received is to clean the keyboard. I do not feel qualified to try this on a notebook. Any ideas? Will thank you forever, if you can help me. I am not an IT professional, but have been using computers for almost 20 years. Thanks!
