We have been trying to install NT4 Workstation by a remote installation disc as featured i NT4 Server. The problem comes with the netcards. There are five different cards to choose from but not all are supported by the default drivers.
The question is this one, how do you update and/or add to the default drivers your desired drivers? There are ways around, replace the cards with an “acceptable” model, but that doesn?t “feel” right and can be rather expensive.
To place the desired drivers in the shared folder that contains drivers doesn?t do any good, at least not for us.
Any suggestions are welcome, the problem is annoying.
