    updating BIOS

    Hi
I just got a new Lenovo Legion Tower 5i. I tried updating BIOS and apparently have no idea what I’m doing. I downloaded the file for my desktop from the Lenovo website, ran the installer, and a command prompt window appeared which my computer is now stuck on.

The computer did not shut off, I can still hear it running. I know bad things happen when you turn it off during a BIOS update so I have no idea what to do. Do I risk restarting it? I don’t really see any other option- please let me know.

      Three questions:
      1. Are you sure it’s command prompt window, not some BIOS screen? The first comes from a program in Windows, the second from the BIOS. Quite something else.
      2. What does this screen say exactly?
      3. Please provide a link to the instruction on how to apply this update, and tell after which step this unlucky incident happened.
