I have created a lookup field and specified which of the fields in the lookup table to to placed into the larger table. My problem is there was already data in the specific field that needs to converted (to the field data from the lookup table). If I go through the records and select the data in the lookup field and click on the field data in the lookup box then the record gets updated with the data that I want to show. Unfortunately the table is large and I want to save time. I have experimented with action queries but have not gotten it right. Anyone have the answer?
