Updating without downloading everytime

By dmessner ·
I am looking for information on setting up a hard drive that has all Microsoft related upates pre-downloaded to it. This would mean all versions of Windows 95+ and Office 97+. I have figured out how to do a CD to update to IE5.5 with any options you wish but I haven't been able to find information on updating Windows and Office as of yet.

Thanks

Updating without downloading everytime

You will never be able to have all updates because new bugs and fixes are being released all the time. It's a never-ending process with these products. The best you can hope for is to get the latest Service Pack for the software and place it on the hard drive with the programs. But that can be impossible because the official distribution site wants to install only those parts applicable to the machine connecting to it. - Good Luck.
