I have a mixed domain in a single forest. I have added 2 Windows 2003 Servers as domain controllers to a domain that originally had 2 Windows 2000 servers as domain controllers.
I have retired one of the 2000 server domain controllers and now want to upgrade the last 2000 server domain controller to 2003.
This remaining 2000 server domain controller has all FSMO roles.
Wouldn’t the easiest upgrade path be to transfer the FSMO roles to one of the 2003 server domain coontrollers and then upgrade the 2000 server?
