If it is a front panel port setup, then you may need to alter the case to add it. However, you shoul dbe able to function without it.

It a VPR Matrix ft4100 case from any old computer. The motherboard is a Asus M2a-VM DVI.
The on and off switch conector or not the same as most other case. where you have 3 or four conector for you pwr reset or speaker instead of being all separate the are made into one signle conector.

All the connections are usually in one cable..

All you do is put this plug (of which might be blue in colour) into the usb (colour blue) port/socket on your motherboard, if you have a card reader then this will take another port/socket on its own. Please read both manuals of both motherboards and find the right plugs/sockets and place them correctly in their corresponding sockets.

The motherboard has a 20-8 system panel connector it dose say you don't have to use all the connector however to connector the IDE led or the Pled you have to jump to the other side of the connector in order to get the mother board to stard up and work properly I think I'll just buy a new case.

sound and USB on the front pannel?

All you NEED is the power connected.

The rest are just bonus.

If you can post what the mother board is and maybe the case, we could give you a more detailed answer.

Bottom line, extra doesn't matter and nothing to worry about.
