I need to upgrade and expand my existing Mitel 3300 system, which includes enabling IP phone capability to add phones to an expansion to our corporate building and to replace 15-20 year old phone systems in two out of state operations. Since the cost to do all of this is ~$80K, seems like I need to confirm we have the best system moving forward. I’ve taken a look at Avaya as a comparative system based on features and cost…and strength of the parent companies and local support resources. I’ve been very happy with the Mitel system and have had no issues worth noting. Does it even make sense to consider replacing this system, or is my company missing out on features and reliability by not looking closely at an Avaya system (or another brand for that matter)?
