Upgrade from Exchange 5.5 to 2000

Hi,

I have been doing a fair bit of reading of upgrading from Exchange 5.5 on Nt4 domain to Exchange 2000 server using AD. My situation is a bit unique from the rest. I need help from the experts.

Here is our network situation; we have upgraded the DC to Windows 2003 server using AD from Nt4.0 domain about 6 months ago. The Exchange is still on nt4.0 using Exchange 5.5. Everything works fine here.

The new exchange server will be using a new server. Given all the info, what is the best upgrade method to go? (in-place or move method) What sort of problems I will be encounter thru out this upgrade process.
