Upgrade from OL98 to OL2K

When upgrading a user from OL98 to OL2K, an Error occurred "Internal installation error. Contact Product Support". It backed out the upgrade. Should 98 be uninstalled first then do a fresh install of OL2K.

We had a similar problem upgrading from OL 97. See if this helps:

In your case, that sounds like a good idea. OL2K should cleanly upgrade OL98, though.

What services do you have setup in OL98?
