I have a PC with "Windows XP HE" 2800 CPU, 512mb, 120hd.
I upated to a new mainboard with the some feature and Inform.
1) When I reboot in to "Windows XP HE" it till me I have to ACTIVATE AGAIN "Windows XP HE" aslo.
2) When I boot the PC use f8 and login as adminidtrative it to setup new drivers for motherboard CD to finish the setup it won't let me run setup form CD. THE CD-ROM WORK OK.
Windows XP in fact it crashes the PC. Can you help me resolve this problems?.

1. this happens when you make a major hardware change in XP. just reactivate.
2. try doing a restore from the cd or a complete reinstall, the latter being the best choice

What happened was, you changed enough hardware to trigger a Windows Activation Event.

No way around it, you do have to reactivate Windows.

Now, depending on how bad things are messed up, you may need to reinstall XP.

Start by performing an "In Place Upgrade".

This should keep your installed programs and user settings.
