I recently upgraded my PDC and added a new WIN2K server to my network. WINS was installed on my PDC and now it is “gone”. No sign that it was ever installed. This server is Multihomed and I am have browser errors in the event log. ID 8021 and 8022.
The network is running and users are logging in and working. I am worried about this but can’t seem to find any real info about what may have happened.
I need some good white papers discussing the issues one has after “the upgrade”. Any help orpointers will be greatly appreciated.
Yes, browsing is slow on this server but doesn’t seem to affect the other server. Hopefully this makes some sense to someone out there…
