How do I upgrade to Windows 2000 Professional?

George,
What are you running?
NT? DOS? WIN9x?
Is all of your hardware supported under WIN2K?
Remember this particular problem, especially if you are going from WIN98 to WIN2K.
Some hardware that runs fine under WIN98, has no drivers for WIN2K, and does not run under WIN2K.
This means that some hardware changes may be required.

We don't really know anything about your hardware, software, etc...but here is a fairly comprehensive guide from MS:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/professional/howtobuy/upgrading/default.asp

Delete any spaces in the URL.
