Upgrading BIOS

By mamsie ·
I have a Pentium 200MMX PC and have just purchased a 20GB hard drive. How can I get BIOS to see the entire hard drive instead of the 8GB it currently sees?

Bios Upgrade

A bios upgrade may solve your problem. You will need to know what bios you have and also the current version of that bios. In addition, you will need to know what mainboard is in your computer if it is not a brandname machine. If you have a propriety system ie.Compact, Dell ect., you may be able to download a bios flash from their web site. What kind of computer do you have?

You can use a utility such as ez drive to install
the 20 gig. Go to the drive manufactures
website. They should have a download that
will help you in this area.
