I’m trying to upgrade my processor. Right now I have a Pentium D 830 3GHz and I went to Microcenter and they recommend upgrade to a Pentium Dual Core E2180 2GHz. My mobo is a Biostar i945G-M7 Intel socket 775. Initially I removed the fan and my old processor and install the new one and nothing happened. So I upgrade my Bios and place the new processor in place and again nothing happened. Is anyone able to give me a little guidance because I need more power in this cpu and I tought that a processor upgrade would be a good idea…
