Upside down picture on monitor

By keld.jegind ·
Someone has turned the screen on a monitor upside down. How to get it into a normal position again? I suppose some keyboard shortcuts have been used. (System Windows XP).

Right-click the desktop

You should see a context menu that allows you to flip the image. Please post back in this thread if the glitch persists.

Depending on the monitor / graphics card ...

by OldER Mycroft In reply to Upside down picture on mo ...

If you have a plugged in graphics card (Nvidia / ATI) when you right click the Desktop you will find an entry in the shell menu for your graphics card's Display Properties. Clcik on that and find the entry for 'Rotate Display' - it can be incremented or decremented by shifting it in 90' amounts either clockwise or anticlockwise.

However, if you find everything seems normal on this screen, some newer digital TFT screens have their own Menu system. In this menu there is sometimes an option to invert or rotate the screen image too. :)

With some ATI Video Cards

There is a ATI Logo/Icon in the Task Bar that you need to click on to open the Display Properties. If you can not find the Rotate Desktop Item listed in the above directions it will be listed in this Shortcut.
