URGENT – DNS Help Needed !!!

Ok – here goes…W2K Client that has been on the Domain for sometime. Logged in this am, no issues that I can see. Tried our local intranet, no go. Internet is no problem. I can ping www.microsoft.com etc…, but cant ping my gateway or any server on the network. Deleted my DHCP res from the DHCP manager, removed the client from the domain to a work group and now I cant join the Domain. I have a working cable connection to the closet. I have flused and refreshed the DNS cache from local machine. I have created and assigned a static IP address for the client. I have also created a new Client name (deleteing the old from server mgr) – Still no luck…

Im in a bind here – any thoughts????
