Urgent!!!—Env Vars set on logon

by bytj . Updated 24 years, 6 months ago

I have a Unix server and many NT client(NT workstations). I use PC NetLink to perform the admin tasks.

I need some environment variables set when a user login to the server. These variables are used on the client side, both by NT client and some scripts. Some of the environment vars include the port number, the server’s name.

For security reason, I’d like the env. vars to be located on the server side, something similar to a NT login script. Every time a user logs in to the server, the environment variables will be set for this user.

I wonder how I could achieve this purpose?

Thanks.
