URGENT: Windows 2000 Power User Rights
LockedPower users in Windows 2000 have the ability to install some software so long as it does not install a service or attempt to replace operating system files.
Is there a way to grant Power Users the ability to install ANY software, just like the Administrator account.
The reason why I ask is because we have some users which wish to install software on their machines, however they need to be more than Power User to install them, and I am not keen on giving them local Administrator privledges. Is there any way around this?
Any suggestions?
