URL Rewriter, Search engine friendly URLS – How to … Help needed

Hi there,

I’ve got a site using .net aspx. At present due to the db there are a lot of dynamic urls. Non meaningful ones.

I know that URL rewriters exist, however how do these work in the most basic concept and how are they implemented and can these be used with .net aspx.

Also i understand that they make new SE friendly URLS, but where do i input the text, or does it just pull in text (se friendly) to the url.
