I’ve installed a US Robotics Fax Modem
56K PCI on a computer running Windows
95 (not 95A). When I click on the modem
in the modem control panel, get
properties, click on the Diagnostics tab,
and choose Get Info, I get an error
message tothe effect that the modem is
not responding.
I’ve been through all the troubleshooting
suggestions and have talked (once) with
US Robotics Tech Support, who
suggested uninstalling all associated
software and starting all over. I did that, to
no avail.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
