USB drive formatted in Mac undetectable in XP

By dp2810 ·
I bought a Seagate Freeagent Go USB 300 GB hdd and did the initial formatting in Mac. Now I'm using PC with Win XP where this hdd does not get detected on explorer.
The hdd has no drive letter assigned in Device Management>Storage>Computer Management, hence no option to format or change the drive letter.
Even when I use command prompt > diskpart > list volume, the volume isn't listed.
What can I do to make it get detected in XP?

Thanks in advance!

USB drive formatted in Mac undetectable in XP (Resolved)

What Disk Manager couldn't do, "EASEUS ALL-IN-ONE Partition Manager Software" home edition did.
It automatically assigned a letter, I gave it a new label, formatted it in NTFS format and now the drive is detectable on explorer.
Awesome stuff!

MAC has a different partition table than windows, you can use "MAC drive" software then you can use your MAC drives as you like in windows
