To be short, I am looking for an usb enclosure for my inspiron 600m hard drive. it is an ide type, 40 GB. I am not so sure about the size but I think it is 2.5″ I need it to be able to work on computers that have only SATA support unless someone can tell me how to fix that problem. A nack that I am having is that if you have seen the inspiron 600m hd, you know that it has the mic and headphone holes attached to it. Is this part of a bracket on the hd that i need to remove or is it part of the hd and i can just go ahead and plug the thing into an usb enclosure?
