USB flash drive command Protocols

What are the specific commands used by the host controller or microcontroller in accessing the files and dirctories of the USB Flash drive. commands for viewing directory, copying files, deleting files etc.

Hi,
There are no specific commands to use a USB flash drive.
Once you plug it in and the system recognises it Windows explorer can access any information, as can programs use the x: function, where X is the drive letter.
NOTES
if you have a USB drive that has security features, then there are commands to invoke them - check the manual on the CD that came with the drive.
OSs W95, W98 and ME need drivers installed W2K and XP don't.
Check your USB port speed as some USB drives don't work with USB 1, only USB 2
