I have a GX280 running Windows XP. Removeable drive F: shows up for every user even after it’s been “safely removed”, dissappears from My Computer and the computer has been restarted. It just reappears. I can not right click on the drive to eject the drive. The thing is….I do not have any external drive connected to the machine.
The computer also will not recognize any new USB flash drives I install. Windows XP finds the new USB drive when inserted but “can not recognize drive installed”. I’ve tried 4 different drives just to be sure.
