I just bought external USB 2.0 harddisk case for my laptop but there is no driver for win98. Can I download the drivers from somewhere?

Pleaser advice,

Hi

You do not say which model you will be using. Your best bet is to search the web.

A good place to start would be driverguide.com You need to register (which is free), but once logged in you can download for free.

Good luck

You could also try the Makers Web Site to see if they have any 98 Drivers available.

Make sure to check the specifications for the device. Many USB 2.0 devices will not work on legacy USB 1 ports on W98 systems. If you don't have a USB 2.0 port, you may need to install a USB 2.0 card to get the drive to work. Even with a driver from the manufacture.
