USB HDD and Ghost – VERY SLOW – HELP!!!

Thanks for everyone’s help on here who helped me put this USB HDD together.

I am having trouble with the speed though. It takes about 6 hours to pull an 8 gig image. It’s being taken from a 30 gig HDD and being put on the USB.

I formatted the USB drive with a 100meg FAT32 partition (for booting DOS) and then added a 2nd partition at 40 gig NTFS for the images that we use.

Any ideas on how to speed this up? It’s on a USB 2.0 port, not USB 1. Up to now, we’ve been pulling the images over a 100Mb LAN connection which took about 45 minutes.
