I’m running vmware 6.0.0 44426 with Vista 6.0.6000 as the host os, and XP as the guest.
The guest is not picking up my usb hard drive or pen drive – though it does get disconnected from the host. Stangely though, the usb printer works fine.
All devices work fine when running on the vista host.
At the suggestion of other forum posts, I have tried removing and re-adding the usb device within the VM, and also adding the line usb.generic.skipsetconfig = “true” to the VMX file. Still no go.
Can anyone help?
