My USB modem is not recognised in WindowsXP. The USB port works as I have tried a printer in the same port, and the modem works as I have tried this on another PC. The only difference is that the modem is powered by USB whereas the printer has itsown power source. I have tried disconnecting devices to see if the system has low power but I have a 300W power supply so it should be ok.
Does anyone have any suggestions – is my mobo faulty? I am thinking of getting a PCI USB card to reslove this.
