USB port Giving error

Hi,
i am using vista as well as windows xp. in xp USB shows error like unknown USB driver even no device connect to system. to stop poping up error i have to disable USB port from device manager.it does'nt give any error with vista.

You probably need to download and install updated usb drivers

If this is happening only in XP I would search for a usb driver or the chipset driver for your motherboard on either the computer manufacturer's website or the motherboard manufacturer's website (if you built this computer yourself). In a case like this Windows is unable to find the correct driver for the usb and is thus giving you that error.

You need to obtain the USB Drivers for your M'Board and XP and install them to prevent this warning message appearing.

Look on the Makers of the M'Board Web Site for these Drivers.
