I just recently upgraded to Windows ME from Windows 98 SE. My USB ports were working fine before the upgrade. Now I have the dreaded yellow exclamation point when I check my device drivers. The error message I’m getting is ‘The NTKERN.VXD device loader(s) for this device could not load the device driver. (Code 2) The recommendation is to update the driver which I have tried to no avail. The device driver is listed as ‘Via Tech 3038 PCI to USB Universal Host Controller’. I’ve also tried removing the device & letting Windows ME find it but the only driver it finds is in the Windows\Inf folder. Any ideas?
Thanks
