So I have a printer, and it has a parallel cable output. I went and bought a parallel to USB cable to hook to my laptop. I finally managed to get it installed and it works on the virtual USB port but not on the LPT ports or COM ports.
The software I have and am trying to use, when I try to print and I select a port does not show the USB port, it only shows the LPT ports and COM ports and File. How can I make the printer print on a LPT port?
PLEASE HELP!!
