This is my THIRD printer this week, so far I have tried Lexmark, Canon and Epson. All three have come with a disk with “vista certified” drivers on. However after the problems with my first attempt (the lexmark) I decided to simply download the most recent drivers from each companies website.
When I have installed the new driver it asks me to connect to the computer. I do so but the installation program does not move on, instead it waits for 2 minutes then tells me to try again.
The computer is recognising the printer it beeps when I plug it in and asks me to install the software for it. In device manager it says there are no drivers installed for it. I can not find any advice that has helped me remedy this problem so far.
Please help!!
