USB sound card stopped working

by frawser7917 . Updated 17 years, 9 months ago

If I connect the speaker to the rear audio
port, I am hearing the sound only from one
speaker. If i connect my speakers to the front
audio port, i can hear sound from both the
speakers. It is found to be a Motherboard
issue. So I bought a USB 3D sound card and
connected that to the rear USB port and it was
working fine. Speakers are connected to the USB
sound card. If i connect my Headphones to the
front audio port, i have to go into control
panel to change the default audio output from
USB audio device to Realtek Audio. Then i can
hear sound from the headphones. If I want to
hear sound from the speakers i have to repeat
the step to change the default audio device to
USB audio. Now the problem is, that the USB
sound card stops working after a single
restart. I had replaced the USB sound card
about 3 times but no use. After a single
restart there would be no sound from the USB
sound card. I don’t know if it is a hardware
conflict between the Realtek audio and USB 3D
sound card. Can any one help me in resolving
this issue?
