I have a quandry… I am running a Dell optiplex GX620, using a USB-RS232 adapter to control my programmable power supply. It works fine, talks just fine both ways, however when I boot up the machine, if the adapter is plugged in when the dell bios loads it will freeze up solid. I had an older BIOS and updated, but still nothing. I even turned off the boot from USB option in case that was it.
Any ideas??
