I have a new Compaq Presario which comes with only USB ports and no serial ports. I use a (communications) program at work that uses either COM1 or COM2. I’ve tried to use a USB to Serial converting cable, but I need to redirect? USB/COM port to COM1 or COM2. Are there any utilities out there that will do this?
