USB webcam

By Cobe ·
XP doesn't recognize my Intel webcam after comp is powered down. When I power up I have to unplug cam and plug back in again and it will work.
-Windows updates are up to date.
-Camera drivers are up to date.
Any suggestions?

ok, assuming you have downloaded the USB update for windows 98SE then i would next update my m/board chipset/USB drivers. if you have a 'VIA' then goto www.viarena.com and get the 4in1 and USB update... same with INTEL, SIS, ALI ect ect.

if that fails then i would get everything working perfect then goto

startmenu->run-> SCANREG
this will scan your reg and ask you to back it up.

try it then see.

Chipset drivers are important
