I operate a small web site which sells Children’s Learning software. We also supply some FREE software downloads, & FREE e-Books as an incentive to look around the site.
Now, we are planning on adding some New books from local Authors for sale aselectronic download versions. Our plan is to place each book into a separate directory (folder), protected with a unique user name and password which would be provided to the customer via e-Mail when he purchased the book.
Customer would then re-enter the site, and use the information to download his purchase. I built a Page using FrontPage2000, used two one-line text boxes, one for name and one for password. HOWEVER, frontpage only lets me send this information to a file, or e-mail it somewhere. When the correct name and password are entered, I need to have it open a page in the authors directory instead, so that the customer can gain access to download his purchase.
Anyone out there know a way to accomplish this with FrontPage 2000..?? (I’m using NT Server 4.0 w/sp6a, and IIS4.0 along with frontpage).
