User accounts and win2k

By light98 ·
I am trying to install Win2k Professional on five machines that will log onto a Win NT 4.0 Server. I need to have the profiles kept local so each machine can have slightly different settings even though they log on with the same username. Can thisbe done in Win2k Pro? When I tried the profiles kept being wiped out whenever I logged off due to being saved in a Temporary folder.

The answer is NO
Because: The Profiles are based on username
and now are part of Win2k (is a NT too)

bud...

Each Win2k have a users on it, and handle a profile restictions for a diferent user from administrator...

Maybe this can help youto explain more what are trying to do (what restiction like on what machine)
