User Environment Error in Windows XP Pro

by perk . Updated 24 years, 4 months ago

I am having a problem setting up a user profile in Windows XP Pro. I have added them to the Admin Group, added them as a member of the Domain. The user can log onto the NT4 domain, the script runs correctly, however, every time I restart the PC the profile is lost and when I log the machine onto the network, I receive an error message stating that it cannot find the roaming profile although I do not have any roaming profiles setup. I want the user to log on to the domain and utilize their profile from the local hard drive. When the user logs on, the profile is created under the C:\Documents and Settings\TEMP instead of the username. I have tried removing them from the domain and re-adding them and still the error is displayed searchingfor a roaming profile. PLEASE HELP. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.
