User Logged on to too many workstations

By roccop ·
I'm working with a network running Novell 4.1 and trying to solve this error. It seems to creep around to different users with no pattern. When a user logs onto thier workstation, wether they are running Windows 95, 98 or NT, they receive an errorthat says "User is logged into too many workstations simultaneously" and they are not. Thanks for your help.

If you checked the MONITOR NLM and found that the user was really not logged in already, you may need to run DSrepair. This happens on our 4.1 Novell Network also from time to time.

If after No.1 answer still does not work then try increasing the number of concurrent connections in NWADMIN to 2. This problem has been reported on the Novell Knowledgebase site. TID10058318
