USER LOGIN – HOURS – WINDOWS NT

by venkys_ebag . Updated 24 years ago

Hi,

I am using WINDOWS NT, and have configured user’s Logon Hours, but they are not disconnected when the time expires.

I came to know that in order to forcefully disconnect users, i need to check the field – “forcefully disconnect user once logon hours expires” in USER MANAGER -> POLICIES – > ACCOUNT in order to forcibly disconnect the user when their time expires. But in case user is using a particular file, and is being disconnected, there are chances that the files gets corrupted. I want a solution, where in once i disconnect user using SERVER MANAGER -> USER -> DISCONNECT, then the user should not be able to logon to the server

what to do please help.

Regards
