user logons cannot find domain

system was sabotage, had to install new 2000server and run backups, im new at this and well having trouble with users wanting to log onto the domain because its not seeing a domain. I have one server who is acting as the domain controller. I added all users and gave priviledges. The administrator password for the PCs i don’t know. How do I get the entire network to function as one again?
