A PC runs Win98 and is connected to a network off a NT server (old one). The user claims that the PC was logged on when he arrived. Is there a logfile on the PC I can look at to see when the machine was turned on and logged into, or something on the server?

Thanks
Bruce

The NT server should have an event log {if it was setup properly} which you can look up to see when and who has logged on and when as well as when they logged off. It should be in the equivalent of the Control Pannel or whatever it was called on the NT units. Sorry But I don't have one running here to have a look see exactly where it is placed but it should be in the Network folder or Network User's Folder.
